To help make your transition easier, we will transfer your existing Universal Office data to CaseRM free of charge as part of your onboarding process.

What We Transfer

The following information can be transferred from Universal Office into CaseRM:

Patient Files

Providers & Provider Calendars

Appointments

Invoices & Payments

What Is Not Transferred

The following items are currently not transferred into CaseRM:

Document Attachments

SOAP Notes

MVA Claim Forms

Extended Health Claim Forms

WSIB Claim Forms

Please note that invoices associated with MVA, WSIB, and Extended Health patient files can still be transferred into CaseRM. However, these invoices will be imported as standard private invoices and not in their original claim form formats.

Data Transfer Setup Fee & Conditions

While the data transfer itself is provided free of charge, a one-time $150 setup fee applies per Universal Office location / database being transferred.

The setup fee includes:

Initial data transfer attempt

One additional transfer attempt if required after review

This allows clinics to review their imported data and request one additional transfer if needed during the migration process. If a clinic delays moving to CaseRM and later requests another transfer attempt beyond the two included attempts, an additional $150 setup fee will apply for each new transfer request.

Unlike Universal Office, which typically requires a separate database for each clinic location, CaseRM supports multiple clinic locations within a single account. This means that multiple Universal Office location databases can be consolidated into one CaseRM account during the migration process.

Important Notes

Clinics are responsible for reviewing imported data after transfer completion.

Data transfers are typically completed within 24 hours and are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Some Universal Office workflows and claim-specific functionality may not yet exist in CaseRM.

CaseRM is currently best suited for clinics primarily focused on private billing workflows.

We continue to actively expand CaseRM with additional integrations and workflow support. To learn more about upcoming features and development plans, please visit our roadmap page.
