Configure Notification Settings

Use this section to manage how appointment notifications are configured. You can set defaults for new appointments, appointment reminders, and other notification types—or turn the notification system off entirely.

The Message Templates column lets you preview the email templates that will be sent to both clients and providers.

Important: Currently, CaseRM supports Email notifications only. Once SMS notifications are integrated, this article will be updated.

New Booking

Enabled: Turn this notification on or off.

Options:

  • Notification delay: When enabled, you must select a delay (1–5 minutes).
  • Enable by default: When set to on, new appointment notifications are enabled automatically when scheduling. If off, you must enable them manually for each booking.

Reminder

Enabled: Turn this notification on or off.

Options:

  • You can configure up to five reminders per appointment. Defaults set here will apply to all appointments but can be overridden individually.
  • For each reminder, choose:
  • – Delivery method
    – Numeric value (how long before the appointment)
    – Time unit (hours or days)

No-show

Enabled: Turn this notification on or off.

Options:

  • Notification delay: When enabled, select a delay (1–5 minutes).

Cancellation

There are no default settings for cancellation notifications. When cancelling an appointment, the system will prompt you to choose whether to send a notification. This section only shows the templates sent to clients and providers.

Reschedule

Enabled: Turn this notification on or off.

Options:

  • Notification delay: When enabled, you must select a delay (1–5 minutes).
